- "Yarn: check. Needles: check. Aptitude: remains to be seen." That was my journal entry on March 21, 2008. A few days later, on March 24, I wrote: "Apparently I can knit! I left C's darling house yesterday with something the size of a bookmark (and a delightful knitting bag sewn by the hostess with the mostest), and before I went to bed, the "something" had become the size of a potholder! Whee! FYI, it's supposedly going to grow up to be a scarf! I am positively terrified of the day when I'm going to have to transition from the end of one ball of yarn to the beginning of another (no, kiddies, "just tying a knot" is inappropriate... I already asked)." Since then, I have made mention of knitting in my journal, but I guess I tried to keep it to a minimum to spare readers from something they might have no interest in, and possibly to keep people from knowing how completely obsessed I am with knitting, and have been from the very beginning. No longer, I say! So much has happened since then, and knitting is now a part of ME, so I'm letting my knitted "freak flag" fly here!
